For years my husband used to complain about the pile of holiday cottage and
hotel brochures that steady grew next to the bed. But I couldn’t help myself. I
loved to spend hours looking for a tree house or castle or fort to stay in. 

After a while it wasn’t just friends and family that would pick my brains about
where they should go for the weekend. 

Soon it was friends of friends. Then friends of friends of friends. Once I was
getting three or four requests a week I decided to do it professionally. The rest,
as they say, is history.
